About Josh
Two decades of hard work, a handshake you can count on.
20 years in the field
I'm Josh Havard, and I've been doing this work for over 20 years. I started out the way most people do — helping neighbors, learning the trade, and figuring out what it really takes to make a yard look its best. What I found is that it comes down to showing up, paying attention, and taking pride in the finished product.
Josh Havard Lawn Care is my own operation, based right here in Huntington, TX. I serve Lufkin and the surrounding communities in Angelina County — the same towns I've lived and worked in my whole life. When I pull up to your property, you're getting me, not a crew you've never met.
Fully insured
I carry insurance for every job — residential and commercial. You can hire me with confidence knowing your property is protected.
Owner-operated
There's no middleman here. You call me, I show up, I do the work. That's it. No subcontractors, no surprises.
Locally rooted
I live here. I work here. I care about this community. When you hire me, you're keeping your money local and supporting a neighbor who takes his reputation seriously.
What makes me different from the big guys
Large lawn care companies send different crews every week, rush through jobs to hit their quota, and treat your yard like a number on a spreadsheet. I don't work that way. I know my customers by name. I notice when something's off with your lawn. I take the extra five minutes to make sure the edges are sharp and the driveway is clean before I leave. That's not a sales pitch — it's just how I was raised to work.
